Job Description

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused HR Coordinator to support our growing People and Development priorities. This full-time role is designed for someone eager to build foundational HR experience across recruiting, learning and development, employee engagement, and program coordination.

As the HR Coordinator, you’ll work closely with our Culture & Talent Development Manager to ensure our employees, candidates, and new hires experience the high-touch, relationship-driven culture we care deeply about at WJA.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growing firm and enjoys wearing many hats while supporting projects, logistics, process improvements, and people-centric initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Support (40%)
  • Manage interview scheduling, candidate communication, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Post and update job descriptions in JazzHR and ensure applicant pipelines are organized and current.
  • Support resume review, screening processes, and candidate follow-ups.
  • Assist with coordination of development program recruiting, campus outreach, and career fair logistics.
  • Prepare interview packets, scorecards, and materials for structured interviews.
Learning & Development (20%)
  • Support firmwide and departmental learning initiatives including workshops, manager trainings, and lunch-and-learns.
  • Track employee certifications, exam incentives, and continuing education requirements.
  • Help maintain and organize internal learning materials, SOPs, and resource libraries.
Employee Engagement & Culture (20%)
  • Partner on initiatives that strengthen culture, communication, and employee connection.
  • Assist with event planning including staff meetings, celebrations, volunteer events, and onboarding socials.
  • Support employee pulse surveys, engagement themes, core values integration, and recognition programs.
Rotation Program & Project Coordination (15%)
  • Help track rotation assignments, goals, performance feedback, and program milestones.
  • Maintain documentation, materials, and communications for the WJA Wealth Management Development Program.
  • Assist with coordination between rotation managers, mentors, and program participants.
General HR Operations (5%)
  • Maintain organized digital files, employee records, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks and prepare new hire materials.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for ongoing People and Development projects.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, office coordination, or a related field. Internship experience welcomed.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Confident, professional communication skills and comfort interacting across all levels of the firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ATS or HRIS systems such as JazzHR or Paycor is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
What Success Looks Like
  • Interviews are coordinated seamlessly and hiring managers feel supported.
  • Candidates experience timely, thoughtful communication and a strong first impression of WJA.
  • The Culture & Talent Development Manager is able to focus on strategic initiatives because day-to-day logistics are handled reliably.
  • Rotation program processes remain organized and on track.
  • Employees feel supported through smooth onboarding, engaging events, and consistent follow-through.
Schedule & Employment Details
