Context & Environment We are seeking a
Regional Site Lead to oversee a portfolio of utility-scale photovoltaic solar and battery storage projects in southeast Texas (ERCOT Houston Hub). This is a pivotal, on-site field leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, technical performance, and operational excellence across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities - Champion Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Enforce TERUSA's HSE policies and ensure all contractors, vendors, and consultants operate to our rigorous standards.
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations, maintenance, and administrative activities for large-scale solar and BESS sites in the Houston region.
- Team Supervision: Oversee O&M contractors and equipment vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts, policies, and industry best practices.
- Technical Support: Guide and support third-party O&M contractors in troubleshooting, maintenance, and operations to maximize safety and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with landowners, suppliers, customers, service providers, governmental authorities, and contractors.
- Policy Development: Assist in developing internal operating policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work Environment: Expect approximately 70% outdoor and 30% indoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Candidate Profile What We're Looking For - Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, technical diploma, or high school diploma with at least five (5) years' industry experience .
- 3+ years supervising technical/O&M personnel in solar.
- 10+ years in operations and maintenance.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of HV substation equipment and solar power technologies.
- Familiarity with LOTO procedures and Electrical Safe Work practices.
- NFPA 70E QEW (LV/HV), SEL/GE protection relays, RTAC, and inverter certifications (Sungrow, SMA, SiemensGamesa) are a plus.
- Experience with energy storage and wind renewables is advantageous.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Proven team leadership experience of field sites.
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation/reporting skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and exceed objectives.
- Organizational Skills:
- Strong project planning and executive-level reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CMMS tools is a plus.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to be fully on-site and rotate between sites in the Houston area.
- Valid U.S. work permit and driver's license.
