Position Overview + Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC - a 204-bed acute care facility serving northeastern NC and southern VA. + Unit: 1 West Mother/Baby + Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM + Start Date: Estimated 12/1 + Contract Type: Travel + Duration: 13 weeks + Hours: 36 hours/week + Pay Breakdown: + Taxable Rate: $42/hr + Meals Stipend: $476/week + Housing Stipend: $770/week + Total Weekly Gross: Approx. $2,758 Job Responsibilities + Deliver nursing care in accordance with NC Board of Nursing and ANA Standards. + Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement interventions. + Provide care to obstetrical and gynecologic patients, newborns, and occasional non-infectious medical/surgical patients. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient/family needs. + Document care processes and evaluate patient progress. + Promote team effectiveness and delegate tasks appropriately. + Ensure age-specific and culturally sensitive care. + Participate in safety huddles and use error prevention tools. Requirements + License: Active NC RN license or compact state eligibility. + Certifications: American Heart Association BLS required. + Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; L&D experience preferred. + Preferred: BSN and prior Mother/Baby or Postpartum unit experience.
