As a Senior Creative Project Manager at SketchDeck, you’ll lead day-to-day relationships and creative projects across some of our largest and most complex client accounts. You’ll oversee a portfolio of high-value, multi-project relationships—guiding design campaigns that range from fast-turn creative requests to large-scale brand initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Accounts, you’ll play a key role in managing enterprise clients, mentoring team members, and shaping the processes that support excellence in SketchDeck’s creative operations.

What You’ll Do

Deliver high-quality creative projects that exceed client expectations

  • Lead creative projects end-to-end—from scoping, budgeting, and timelines to delivery.
  • Partner with Design Directors on creative strategy, ensuring brand consistency and design excellence.
  • Review project briefs to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with client goals.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, budgets, and creative production timelines simultaneously.
  • Allocate projects across your design team to meet deadlines and profitability goals.
  • Review and approve deliverables for quality, brand alignment, and QC before delivery.
  • Anticipate and resolve project challenges proactively through transparent communication.
  • Obtain and manage POs/SOWs as needed to ensure profitable project delivery.
  • Lead enterprise-level and integrated creative programs ranging from $25K–$100K+.

Nurture, retain, and grow client relationships

  • Build trusted partnerships with enterprise and Fortune 100 clients.
  • Guide new clients through onboarding and early project success.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and regular client check-ins to align on goals and creative priorities.
  • Develop strategies to help clients maximize creative impact across their organization.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, renewal, and expansion of client engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with account and strategy teams to deliver a unified client experience.

Lead and inspire your team

  • Manage and mentor a team of 1–2 Project Managers and 8+ designers/QC specialists.
  • Lead daily standups to align priorities and drive momentum across multiple projects.
  • Recruit, train, and coach new team members to support scaling creative delivery.
Ensure team members understand and champion client brands in every deliverable.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and provide a clear progression path for direct reports.

Contribute as a senior leader at SketchDeck

  • Continuously refine processes to improve creative quality, collaboration, and efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Design, Strategy, Sales, and Accounts teams to deliver cohesive client solutions.
  • Mentor other PMs and help foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and excellence.
  • Champion SketchDeck’s values—building trust, creativity, and growth within your team and across the company.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of creative project management experience (agency background required).
  • Proven experience managing enterprise and Fortune 100 clients.
  • Strong understanding of branding, campaigns, and integrated creative projects.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills—confident, charismatic, and adept at collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, capable of managing and mentoring 1–2 Project Managers (with progression path in year 2+).
  • Skilled at work-stream management, budget tracking, and creative production timelines.
  • Comfortable collaborating across creative, strategy, sales, and account teams.
  • Highly organized, with strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, or similar).
Strong creative sensibility and the ability to balance quality with business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
