AI Engineer, Materia (New Grad – 2026)

Position Summary:
Symbiotic Services is seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer (New Grad – 2026) to join a team building intelligent software products that transform professional workflows. This role is designed for upcoming graduates eager to apply their technical skills to real-world challenges in AI, automation, and large-scale system development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI-powered tools and features across services such as intelligent search, task automation, and knowledge management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver user-centered solutions.
  • Participate in software development lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Learn from experienced mentors and progressively take ownership of complex features.
  • Maintain a strong focus on performance, usability, and maintainability of code.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field expected by Fall 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026.
  • Completion of at least one internship or relevant project experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
  • Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Side projects or experience involving AI/ML systems, APIs, or scalable cloud services.
  • Knowledge of development tools and frameworks such as FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, AWS, or Vercel.
  • U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
