Job Title: Forklift Operators
Pay Rate: $20/hr.
Shift : 8PM - 6AM
Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, Paid Sick Leave
Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for accurately preparing, verifying, and loading outgoing shipments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely and efficiently. This position plays a key role in maintaining the flow of finished product from production to delivery, while upholding the client’s commitment to quality, safety, and on-time performance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments by comparing items, quantities, and lot numbers to shipping documentation.
● Load finished products safely and securely onto trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks.
● Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
● Prepare and print shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents.
● Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policy.
● Inspect trailers prior to loading to ensure they are clean, safe, and suitable for product transport.
● Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company safety standards.
● Communicate any shipment discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
● Assist with inventory counts and product staging as needed.
● Follow all OSHA and the client safety procedures, including PPE and equipment checks.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED preferred.
● 1+ year of experience in shipping, warehouse, or distribution preferred.
● 3+ years Forklift certification (sit-down)
● Basic computer and RF scanner skills.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
● Warehouse environment; exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
● Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, etc.).
